The Goose & Turrets is dedicated to serving four courses of healthy breakfast comprising something guests probably wouldn’t cook for themselves. Locally grown fresh produce is featured. For the second year, the inn has received the “As Fresh As It Gets” award from San Mateo County.
Every morning we start out with Ethiopian Harrar coffee (regular or decaf – always freshly ground and brewed) then may come:
Keemun tea, orange juice, melon and prosciutto, hot oatmeal, camerones con aguacate and salsa, and mandarin orange sherbet
Ceylon and India tea, cran-raspberry juice, fresh fruit plate, bellila cereal, chompipe con queso (ask about the name), and black cherries in brandy sauce with crème chantilly
Smoky Siberian tea, guava juice, smoked salmon and cream cheese on a baby bagel, housemade muesli, blackberry filled Dutch baby, and cheese board
English Breakfast tea, tangerine juice, mango porcupine, granola with yoghurt, garden omelet with country sausage and sour dough toast, and pot de creme du chocolat avec creme chantilly
Or, we may serve something entirely different that we have just invented because of a wonderful fresh ingredient that we discovered in our own garden or at the market.

About Our Food
The Goose & Turrets B&B’s Owners, Raymond and Emily Hoche-Mong, are experienced gardeners. Many of the herbs, fruits, and vegetables used to make breakfast originate from the surrounding garden and orchard.
After a long day fishing, beach-combing, bird watching or shopping, we know you will want to participate in our Afternoon Tea.
